| ISSUES HOMELESS
There are many reason why there are so many homeless people across our
nation. As the cost of living increases, in many instances, the wages
remain unchanged, setting the stage for homelessness, not having the
required living expenses. The spiraling cost of living also affects the
poorly educated, mentally incapable, physically handicapped, and the
elderly. I believe as we address the real needs of people in general we
can dramatically reduce the numbers of the homeless.
HEALTHCARE
I believe, and will work with Congress to insure affordable healthcare,
including the interest of cooperate America, and small businesses that
we not drive them out of competition in the process of adjusting our
healthcare programs.
JOBS
The largest percentage of the people in our nation depend upon an income
from some source, retirement, social services, entrepreneur, employment
from small, large or giant corporations, which generate resources
Strengthening the economic growth of our
nation. When jobs fail to yield both in output per employee,
and wages per employee, profit for the investor, and the whole balance
of our economy changes. I will work to insure fairness in the work
place, and at the same time allowing for healthy business growth.
MILITARY
I will work diplomatically to resolve conflicts, and only with a clear
vision resort to military power to protect the freedom of our nation,
and our interest abroad. We must make no mistake about the
cost to preserve this great freedom, sometimes even the very lives of
military members, (I consider a premium price). I will not commit the
military to any objective until first I have taken the initiative to
attain the best possible council from those agencies required to gather
such information.
NATIONAL DEBT & FOREIGN INFLUENCE
Our nation's debt has much to do with our ability to continue our
sovereignty. Our first President George Washington warned of foreign
influence, commercial relations, and political connections. "The
jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake; since history
and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful
foes of Republican Government. But that jealousy to be useful must be
impartial; else it becomes the instrument of the very influence to be
avoided, instead a defense against it. Excessive partially for one
foreign nation and excessive dislike of another, cause those whom they
actuate to see danger only on one side, and serve to veil and even
second the arts of influence on the other. Real Patriots, who may resist
the intrigues of the favorite, are liable to become suspected and
odious; while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of
the people, to surrender their interests. The Great rule of conduct for
us, in regard to foreign Nations is in extending our commercial
relations to have with them as little political connection as possible,"
VIOLENCE IN OUR NATION
I believe that as we work with the development of our society with
proper care, we can and will see a great turnaround in crime, improving
our methods used in our courts to properly identify those individuals
that are a constant and dangerous threat with permanent residence in
prison, and giving those who need minor adjustments opportunity to
return to society, equipped to successfully restart their lives. One of
the great benefits of success is in properly addressing their needs.
ABORTION
I believe that abortion is a form of reducing the value of life for two
valuable individuals. HEALTHCARE
I will work to make healthcare affordable for all.
Terrorism and Homeland Security: I believe that we should leave
the military forces intact as they are, rather concentrating our energy
to strong diplomacy and our intelligence capabilities to infiltrate and
destroy those elements of threats, reserving the military for greater
force application when necessary. We cannot compromise our ability
militarily to wage and to win wars against any enemy. Our U.S. Military
is already taxed heavy in defending our nation and interest abroad. I
will not let terrorist dictate American policy.
Taxes: I believe that with proper
involvement we can make our taxes fairer, and simplified, and I will
work to make that change.
Education Issues: I believe that it is very
import to relate education to its importance in employment to many of
our youth. Many are deciding early employment over education to satisfy
immediate family financial needs. Many students would continue with
little support if needed support is given in time. There are many
players involved in the process from grade school to higher education,
and we need the support of all to effectively educate our populace.
Marriage: I am a Christian, understanding
that it is forbidden, according to the Holy Scriptures, for male and
female to engage in a sexual relation outside of marriage or with an
individual of the same sex, that the purpose of marriage is to
introduce, through a union a family.
Immigration: I believe that as we reach out
to those desiring to visit and to live in the USA, that there is a
matter of respect due to the American people and their constitutional
form of governing. I desire and support the current laws of immigration.
If there are ways that we can improve on our immigration laws, I will be
the first to listen and to work to accept those changes.
National Debt: I will work to reduce the
national debt considerably, I believe that we owe it to the American tax
payers, I plan to also reduce taxes, giving taxpayers more buying power.
Domestic Programs: As we work together to
create more decent jobs, with decent wages, I look to see more people
able to support themselves giving relief to the national debt.
Business Community: I will call upon the
business community, along with the educators to help educate and create
jobs in America. I will also work to create a more friendly environment
to do business in America.
Justice System: I will work to make sure
that every American citizen's rights are protected, and that our laws
are just.
