Nonfarm payroll employment declined by 159,000 in September, and the
unemployment rate held at 6.1 percent. Employment continued to fall in
construction, manufacturing, and retail trade, while mining and health care
continued to add jobs.
The U.S. Import Price Index decreased 3.0 percent in September, following a 2.6
percent decline in August. Falling petroleum prices led the overall decrease,
although nonpetroleum prices also declined. Prices for overall exports decreased
1.0 percent for the month.

Protecting against import injury to U.S. industries, antidumping, direct action
against unfair trade practices, patents, trademarks and copyright infringements;
we must protect against the above to continue fair trade in the International
arena
Iraq
lets end the war and begin to rebuild our nation's economy, and military
strength.
Middle
East
We must
curtail dependency on Middle East oil.

Security
Educate the public on its missions to protect our nation.
